Pete King, the inimitable ring leader of our fun little community, has been working harder than ever to make Tucson Gay Pride 2016 the best yet! To that effect, he has scheduled a host of events for Tucson Gay Pride Friday, beginning with G3Pride.
Meet your best G3 buddies at the Hut a little after 5pm for some good company, fun music, and great drink specials. If you’ve never been, the Hut is an amazing, island-themed nightclub most notable for it’s excellent live entertainment and the epic Tiki God which guards the entrance.
Tucson Pride has also been working tirelessly to create the best pride events to date. Be sure to jump outside around 7:15pm and watch the Gay Pride Parade as it winds down 4th Avenue. Enjoy the creative floats as talented dancers toss candy for the little kids and condoms for the big ones 8) After the parade, head over to Club Congress for the Block Party culminating in Pride at the Railto, Pete’s latest brainchild, featuring the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Now, get some rest. Tomorrow is Pride in the Park. Yes, it’s back at Reid Park!
We haven’t had a Tucson Pride Weekend with this much to do in years! I would like to thank Tucson Pride’s new advisory board for their diligent work in planning and executing on such an ambitious slate of events. Come out this weekend and show the world Tucson’s Gay Pride!
