A Center for Spiritual Evolution
There is a power for good in the Universe, and you can use it! Tucson New Thought is a contemporary, “transdenominational” (meaning “beyond denominations”) spiritual community where anyone at any point of their spiritual journey is welcome. We teach practical spirituality and tools for personal transformation. We celebrate the inherent connection, the Oneness of all life, and the unifying energy of love we all share. We value community, creativity, and diversity in all we do. Our ultimate goal is to precipitate our own spiritual evolution, become a force for good, and awaken all humanity to its spiritual magnificence.
New Thought is a global philosophy and movement which has at its core the tenet that all faith traditions, all spiritual philosophies and religions have a common golden thread of Love at their core. We celebrate all of it. New Thought was born in rebellious reaction to dogma, doctrines, and creeds, that suggested on any level that humanity was anything less than magnificent. Inherent in this is the understanding that as we come to more deeply accept and know who we are as spiritual individualizations of Love, we more deeply understand our connection with every aspect of the physical world. This means we can no longer hold on to “-isms”, “-phobias”, “othering”, or any sense of “superiority.” When we know who we are, we recognize and know that we are ALL equal.
We do not teach anyone what to think or believe. We empower and teach a context for developing your own thoughts and beliefs that is constructive and positive. To learn how to think, is to learn how to live!
We are an open and affirming community. Our minister, Rev. Jonathan Zenz (he/him), is a Tucson native who has been out and proud for more than 25 years.
