Fruit Cake - G3 Gay and Lesbian Happy Hour

Join Tucson’s LGBTQ+ community for a festive evening at the G3 December Happy Hour, affectionately known as Fruit Cake. This annual holiday gathering is set for Friday, December 20, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Playground Bar & Lounge, located at Congress Street and 5th Avenue.

Fruit Cake is renowned for its lively atmosphere, featuring holiday drink specials, delicious food, and great music. The event brings together a diverse and friendly crowd, making it an ideal occasion to connect with old friends and meet new ones. A highlight of the evening is the Ugly Sweater Contest, where attendees showcase their most outrageous holiday attire for a chance to win fun prizes.

Admission is $9, which includes entry and your first drink. For convenience, valet parking is available at the AC Hotel, and nearby garages offer additional parking options. Street parking is free after 5:00 PM, and the Sunlink Streetcar stops right in front of the venue, making transportation easy.

To ensure the health and safety of all guests, attendees are encouraged to stay home if experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or if they’ve been recently exposed to illness.
