Shocked but not shocked after reading an article on AOL this morning. The writer makes a subtle referernce to discrimination, but it’s there. In a nut shell, State Farm denies a gay couple a discount on insurance because they are not married.
I called Kristi Frank at American Family Insurance in Tucson this morning. She verified that American Family Insurance gives couples a discount on home/auto as long as both of them are owners of the home.
Spend your money with companies who support the GLBT community. This could not be more important in a time when we are fighting for our basic rights. And lets face it folks, Fortune 500 companies are advertising to us because they know the GLBT community is one of the wealthiest. Every dollar you spend makes a difference.
