Southern Arizona Gender Alliance (SAGA) is a support program for trans identities. On their website, they describe themselves as “SAGA is a non profit organization that provides support, education, resources, and advocacy for Southern Arizona’s diverse community of trans and gender nonconforming individuals. We envision a world in which all people who are gender fabulous are guaranteed basic rights and personal liberation; where we can all be open, honest, and safe wherever we go.”
Southern Arizona Gender Alliance’s goal is to create a society where gender creative individuals are guaranteed of their basic human rights and can live in an open, honest and safe community. SAGA services include the following: support groups, advocacy, community education and training for businesses, service providers, and community members on how our allies can be supportive and inclusive.
