A Spirit-Led, LGBTQIA+ Affirming Community in Tucson
St. Mark’s United Methodist Church has been a cornerstone of faith and compassion in Northwest Tucson since 1957. With a clear and courageous commitment to inclusion, St. Mark’s offers a welcoming and affirming space where LGBTQIA+ individuals and families can worship, grow, and thrive in full authenticity. From communion and baptism to marriage and ministry, all are celebrated without reservation.
With two campuses — the Magee Campus and the Sanctuary Campus in Marana — St. Mark’s provides in-person and livestreamed worship services every Sunday at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM, inviting everyone to experience a faith community rooted in love, service, and spiritual growth. You can feel the Spirit move in this multi-site, multi-generational church that embraces diversity of all kinds, including age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, political beliefs, and physical or mental ability.
Community is at the heart of St. Mark’s mission. With dozens of small groups and classes, including the Rainbow Fellowship, LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies have meaningful opportunities to connect, reflect, and build lasting relationships. The church is also deeply involved in Tucson community outreach, from food distribution initiatives to support for underserved schools and caring ministries.
