Cinco De Mayo is always a fun-filled day here in Tucson! Being so close to Mexico, we have numerous ties to their wonderful heritage and fabulous cultural expressions. Anyone who has ever been to Dia De Los Muertos in Downtown Tucson knows what I mean. To celebrate 2018, head over to the Cinco De Mayo Social with MSN & Friends!
What is the Cinco De Mayo Social with MSN & Friends?
The Cinco De Mayo Social is an extension of Men’s Social Network‘s current monthly potluck format. Participants are tasked with cooking their favorite Mexican dishes with the goal of creating as diverse a menu as possible. Past events have produced epic menu’s and MSN is excited to see what you create this time!
When and Where is the Cinco De Mayo Social with MSN & Friends?
Ummm, the 5th of May 😎 But seriously, it’s coming up soon (sorry for the late notice)! You’ll want to start planning your dish today as it needs to be ready by Saturday evening. All of the delectable dishes will hit this line promptly at 6 PM, so you’ll want to have ready to go by then.
The whole event will take place at the Casas Adobes Congregational UCC, a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Feel free to bring guests, all are welcome!
Anything Else I Should Know?
There is a nominal fee for the event that goes towards the reservation of the space. Get access the entire event for only $3 with a plate or $5 without, but you should definitely bring a plate. I mean, it’s a potluck…
Celebration of Life and Memorial Tribute
While at the Social, you’ll have the opportunity to view the Celebration of Life and Memorial Table. This is a tribute to friends, family, and pets that are no longer with us. Stop by and share a moment to appreciate the precious nature of life.
