This year’s Pride in the Desert will be gayer and pimpier than ever. In addition to having one of the funniest celebrities kick things off at the Pride on Parade, a great line up of entertainers will be making this year’s Gay Pride one to remember.
One of the best acts will be put on by Jonny McGovern. If you have no idea who McGovern is, then it’s time to GayDucate yourself!
Jonny McGovern, also known as “The Gay Pimp”, first burst into the scene in New York City back in 2000.
His witty, funny and often times dirty act are some of the ingredients that made his star shine brighter than others. His bold lyrics and racy videos got him the media attention he needed and he went on to participate in many TV shows bringing “gay” mainstream.
Almost a decade after his debut The gay Pimp continues to make Gay okay by putting out in-your face gay, self-esteem busting videos such as Lookin’ Cute/ Feelin’ Cute. McGovern has recently recruited a fierce team of back up dancers and singers fittingly known as TEAM PIMP.
Together The Gay Pimp and TEAM PIMP will be bringing some good ‘ol gay entertainment to Pride in the Desert, and event you won’t want to miss.
