Help Build Rainbows to bridge the gap for hard working American families. Rainbow Build, an LGBT group affiliated with Habitat for Humanity, have been building Tucson since 2005. Regularly, volunteers from our LGBT Community go out to the construction yard and work on an amazing single-family home.
Last month, nearly 30 volunteers worked at the Rainbow Build making giant progress on the home where a family will enjoy making future memories. Each volunteer showed they are engaged in the citizens of our cherished community. This was a day full of smiles, laughter, and a shared opportunity to help stabilize lives.
You can get involved in several ways.
- Volunteer –Volunteers from our LGBT Community go out to the construction yard and work on an amazing single-family home. There are projects for all ability levels, from installing trusses to rolling paint.
- Donate – In order to finish the home, donations are very much needed.
- Become a fundraiser! Host social events at your home or the location of your choosing. Your guests will socialize and play games with the intent of raising donations. A recent fundraiser raised almost $24,000!
