RoadRunner Theater Company is quickly earning a name for itself due to the talented acting troupe and fantastic set design. If you haven’t yet been, they perform out of the inimitable APCOT Theatre, a central plank in Tucson’s art culture. Perhaps you caught Nana’s Naughty Knickers by Catherine Disavino or Becky’s New Car by Steven Dietz. All of their witty, hilarious productions have left audiences howling and now it’s your turn!
This Tony award-winning play by Yasmina Reza now comes to Tucson for your viewing pleasure. When GoC opened on Broadway, the New York Times said “a streamlined anatomy of the human-animal [that] incites the kind of laughter that comes from the gut, as involuntary as hiccups or belching.”
Roadrunner theater brings you, God of Carnage. Directed by Mark Klugheit, GoC is a hilarious window into the grown-up world of compromise and manners… only without the manners. Who can say they’ve never made a mistake while parenting? Certainly not these two families. Watch as adults attempt to model proper conflict resolution paradigms for their children. Except they walk down the same road of fruitless mediation and rising frustration.
Discounts are available for seniors, military, students, and groups. The show starts at 7:30 pm and you can get your tickets here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2551734
