The ASUA Second Chance Prom “Mas-QUEER-ade,” is on Saturday, April 22nd from 7 pm-11 pm and it’s FREE!! Hosted by the undergraduates at the ASUA Pride Alliance this is an all-ages event.
ASUA Second Chance Prom
Were queers accepted at your high school? If so, were they allowed to go to Prom together and openly? Unfortunately for a lot of people, this isn’t the case and they either went closeted or not at all. UA Pride Alliance is giving us a second chance at the prom of our dreams. One based on acceptance and inclusivity. Doesn’t that sound like a good time?
Be who you want, wear what you want, and have your first prom experience or make a new one! There is no dress code, masks are not a requirement, and best of all it’s FREE. Whether you want to wear a tux or skater gear, all are welcome at the University of Arizona’s Pride Alliance’s Second Chance Prom.
Parking is free on Saturdays. Your best bet will be behind the UA Rec Center. Parking spaces will also be available at the South of the 6th lots as well as the Sixth Street Garage. If you get lost you can ask a friendly staff member at the Rec Center desk.
What about entertainment? There will be a DJ, a drag performer, a photo booth, games, and food! There is a little something for everyone so to find out all the details go to our full post.
Have a great day, Tony Ray ?
