Trans survey takers are in need for a research study out of the University of Nevada. A graduate student of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is investigating anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation levels amongst individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria who are receiving hormone therapy.
You can take the survey online and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Taking the survey is completely voluntary. All answers remain confidential and you can quit taking the survey at any time if you change your mind. Please consider taking this trans survey if you meet the qualifications. It is well known that depression disproportionately affects the trans community. This study could be critical in confirming that gender-affirming healthcare positively affects the individual.
The survey closes this Friday, July 15th so please take it if it applies and share it with someone who could take it. They are looking for a large number of participants so please share this trans survey. It is critical that trans health is studied so that individuals with body dysmorphia get the life-saving, gender-affirming healthcare they need to thrive and not just survive.
