When Is Tucson Pride 2020?
Tucson Pride will be run a little differently this year. Historically in September or early Fall, Tucson Pride 2020 will be pushed back a bit to honor National Coming Out Month in October. The official date when the festivities begin is October 24th, 2020.
What Can I Expect at Tucson Pride 2020?
Since the Board of Directors voted on August 1st to cancel the in-person event, there really isn’t much information as to what we can expect at the virtual event. We do know that there will be fantastic performances, inspiring panels and vignettes highlighting Tucson’s wonderful LGBT history. We also know who our amazing hosts will be for this once-in-a-lifetime event: the inimitable Lucinda Holliday and Justin Deeper-Love.
Stay tuned to GayTucson.com for more details in the coming weeks. We are excited to support this excellent event and hope that it can unite Tucson’s Gay Community in a spirit of togetherness, love and cooperation.
