The goal of this VA LGBT Veterans survey is to learn about the health and life experiences of Veterans with LGBT and related identities. The hope is that the data they collect will help them improve Veteran health.
What is the VA LGBT Veterans Survey?
All you have to do is fill out a web-based questionnaire once every 9 months for approximately 2 years (a total of 4 questionnaires). Puget Sound Health Care System will conduct the survey. Questionnaires will be all online. No in-person visits required.
This is a national survey. This data will be mined for any insights as to how to improve the health and wellfare of LGBT Veterans.
At the end of the study, they will give us a 1-page summary of their findings that we will share on GayTucson.com and on our social media! This is a very exciting opportunity to improve the situation of your fellow Veterans.
How Do I Become a Part of the Study?
Better serving our LGBT military members is critical to having a healthy, productive fighting force to protect our country. Plus, given our proximity to Davis-Monthan AFB, we love and cherish all of our LGBT Veterans.
