Q. Hi Mom,
I am a 17 year old guy and I started off at around 11 thinking I was bisexual. It was’nt until I turned about 16 that I realized I was loosing it for girls all together. Right now i’m really scared and vulnerable and I don’t know where to turn. I want a boyfriend really bad. It’s all I think about. Probably the hopeless romantic in me. I never had my first kiss before either. Can you help turn me in the right direction? I want to tell my mom about it but I don’t want to tell her until I get a feel for things. Thanks in advance!

I am proud of you for being true to yourself as a person!!! ALWAYS respect yourself and NEVER submit to any sexual activity unless you are with a person with whom you feel SAFE with and have feelings for and ALWAYS using protection. Please come to a PFLAG meeting…..we meet the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm at the council office behind Walgreens off Speedway close to Country Club…..it is a loving, caring group of people from all experiences who would gladly share ideas and support. Do not rush the act of love….it will happen with the right person at the right time and be a good memory instead of a regret.
