Every September, bisexual people and their allies around the world come together to celebrate a vital part of the LGBTQ+ community that is too often overlooked. Here in Tucson, we’re doing it in style, with an event that blends connection, celebration, and visibility in one welcoming space. Celebrate Bisexuality Day on September 23 is your chance to be part of a joyful gathering where everyone’s identity is honored and embraced.
Whether you identify as bisexual, pansexual, queer, or are simply curious and supportive, you’ll find this event full of friendly faces, great conversation, and opportunities to connect with others who understand the beauty and complexity of attraction beyond the binary.
You can expect engaging activities that spark conversation and laughter, as well as thoughtful moments that highlight the importance of bisexual visibility. This is a time to honor the resilience of the bi+ community, challenge the stereotypes that still linger, and remind ourselves, and the world, that bi folks are here, vibrant, and thriving.
The atmosphere is intentionally inclusive: allies are welcome, newcomers are celebrated, and no one is expected to have all the answers. If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t “fit” neatly into one category or another, you’ll feel right at home here.
More than a celebration, the day also offers resources and information about bisexual history, local support networks, and ways to get more involved in Tucson’s LGBTQ+ scene. It’s a space where you can be your full, authentic self, and maybe even make a few new friends along the way.
