COVID-19 has definitely thrown a monkey-wrench into our wonderful local events scene. On our events calendar, we used to list a few great things to do in Tucson for each day, now we are down to only a few events a week. Luckily, our friends at the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce have heard our pleas and they have created a fantastic slate of upcoming Tucson Events for September!

September Monthly Breakfast
The LGBT Chamber is transitioning its popular monthly breakfast to an online format for wider distribution and attendance. You still get the same small group networking opportunities after a stirring presentation by Mindy Blake about the future of transportation in Tucson. This event will take place on Thursday morning at 8 am on September 17th. You have to register in order to attend, so learn more and sign up for the September Monthly Breakfast on the GayTucson Events Calendar!
Virtual Cooking Class with Ron Wassell of Blue House Catering
This is the event that I am most excited about! Full disclosure – Darren and I love Ron Wassell and Blue House Catering. We have hired Ron for catering birthday celebrations and he has provided the food for numerous events and parties we have attended. You can’t go wrong with the immaculate food created by Ron and his team at Blue House, and that’s why I am so excited to learn the process by which he creates such works of culinary art.
We have a date, September 27th, but we don’t yet have a link for signup and further instructions. Keep checking the GayTucson Events Calendar every day from now until event day, we will post the event link in the Events Calendar and on the homepage.
