With the thermonuclear Tucson summer opening it’s arms and welcoming us in, it’s safe to say the Pool Season has officially begun! Get ready for visits from family and friends whom you haven’t seen since… last summer 🙂 Get ready for BBQ’s and relaxing nights under the sunset… Or, head up to Phoenix this weekend for the Pool Party of a Lifetime at Splash Bash 2018!
What is Splash Bash?
Splash Bash is the brainchild of ION Arizona and BGC Entertainment, two companies devoted to programming fun events for Arizona LGBT’s. They rent out a hotel and hold a huge pool party in the central area, complete with music and drinks and lots of sun.
This year, there is an entire series of event to attend that build off of eachother. You’ll start tomorrow night with the Kick-Off Party then spend all day Saturday enjoying the Pool Party.
Once it starts to get dark, you’ll head to SplashDance at a local nightclub and keep the party going. Wake the next day, drink some water and take a few vitamins, and head over to the Sexiest Bartender Contest 2018 for an excellent bookend to a fantastic series of events.
When is Splash Bash?
The event series begins tomorrow night, June 1st and runs through Sunday, June 3rd. Purchase tickets to all the events and be sure to reserve a room at the hotel.
How Do I Get to Splash Bash?
If you’re heading out of Tucson, just head up I-10W for a few hours till you reach Phoenix, then turn on your GPS and punch in “Charlie’s Phoenix” to join the party. After the bar, everyone will head back to the Embassy Suites at the Phoenix Airport for the pool party.
Hang out and have a blast with all the fun new people before venturing over to Stacy’s @ Melrose to SplashDance the night away. Another night in the hotel turns over to the Sexiest Bartender Content the next day. After that, you’ll be all partied out and the ride home will be a relaxing, cathartic time to take in all that you experienced.
