How we treat each other is finally being addressed in the national conversation. We would like to offer excellent resources for LGBTQ Families. So, special thanks to Fernando for discovering some great new resources that you can trust.

They had lots of different listings for local Tucson area counselors and resources. Very informative page for any counseling needs.
Resources for LGBTQ Families: Stop Bullying
https://www.stopbullying.gov/laws/arizona/index.html
This page has lots of resources both nationwide and local. It gives legal advice for those in the State of AZ on what they can do and how to stop bullying. The Tucson school district has a site, but it covers safety and has a very little part on basic bullying. Nothing is related to LGBTQ bullying.
Resources for LGBTQ Families: SAGA (Southern Arizona Gender Alliance)
This is a great resource for both parents and children going through the transition. They have everything from medical and psychological advise to crisis intervention. This a very good site for all those involved.
Resources for LGBTQ Families: Domestic Abuse
For survivors of domestic abuse, please visit the SAAF website https://saaf.org/care-services/anti-violence-programs or call 24-Hour Crisis Line at 520-624-0348 or 1-800-553-9387. These options will provide them with services for shelter, crisis intervention, and a case manager to help them through this process.
Have a great day,
Tony Ray 🙂
