Exercise and fresh air are good things, and laughter is a magical elixir for all that ails you. We laugh a LOT. And who doesn’t need or want new friends?!
Kickball! Everyone! Anyone! Bring your friends, your well behaved two- and four-legged critters, your neighbors, your mom… Anyone who will have fun and won’t take themselves or the holy game of kickball too seriously.
No skills required. We only ask that you try your best. We have a range of folks who play, from the people who should play professionally, to people who never even played in grade school (It’s true!). Really we just have fun. The rules are minimal, and we don’t keep score.
The last one was SO fun, we can’t wait for the next one! We just received new light-up kick balls, so hopefully we can play a little longer this month.
The exact location can be a little more tricky than it used to be. There are 4 kickball backstops around the big field at Himmel, and we will do our best to get one. Look for a rag tag group of people. Or maybe we’ll get a balloon. Or a flag?
If you really don’t want to play, it’s ok. Come out to mingle, chat, and cheerlead. Short skirts and pompoms strongly suggested but not mandatory.
Bring snacks to share if you want to/can. It’s nice and we can play longer if we have sustenance. 🙂
