The Tucson Helios Ensemble is the new vocal group helping to uplift Tucson spirits with their inspirational music. This 55-person group consists of local Tucsonans just like you whom enjoy sharing their gifts through amazing performances. Led by the great Artistic Director Benjamin Hansen, the Helios Ensemble weaves a touching tapestry of emotion with every selection.
Who is the Helios Ensemble Artistic Director, Benjamin Hansen and Assistant Director, Sam Sierra-Feldman?
Benjamin Hansen is not only the Artistic Director, he founded the group. He lends his considerable talents and experience to not only The Helios Ensemble, but also the Catalina United Methodist Church. His incredible abilities and masterful stewardship of the group has allowed them to flourish.
Benjamin is capably flanked by Assistant Director and Composer in Residence Sam Sierra-Feldman. He is an UA (or is it UArizona now?) alumni and accomplished local music instructor. The Helios Ensemble is well-served by her passionate dedication to her craft.
When is the next Helios Ensemble Performance?
What a fantastic question. The next amazing performance by The Helios Ensemble takes place in three weeks. Precisely on the 23rd of November at 7:00pm. They will be performing Carmina Burana. These are some amazingly intricate selections. I can’t wait to see how the incredible professionals at The Helios Ensemble pull off such a feat.
