Senior Pride Potluck – Bring a Dish, Share a Laugh, Build Community

LGBTQ+ seniors gathered around a long table filled with homemade dishes at a community potluck.
A joyful afternoon of food, laughter, and community at the Senior Pride Potluck.

If potlucks warm your heart, mark your calendar for August 30, that’s when the Senior Pride Potluck returns! LGBTQI+ adults ages 55+ are invited for a delicious and laid-back afternoon of food, friendship, and laughter.

What’s the best part of a potluck? Walking in not knowing what dishes await, maybe a neighbor’s legendary casserole, a colorful salad, or a surprise sweet treat, and finding yourself instantly surrounded by familiar smiles and welcoming conversation.

You’re encouraged to bring a dish to share, but please know: if cooking isn’t your thing or your kitchen is on a break, don’t let that stop you. Your presence, friendly chatter, a listening ear, a comforting aura, counts just as much. After all, friendship is the secret ingredient here.

Hosted by Southern Arizona Senior Pride at Southside Presbyterian Church (317 W 23rd St, Tucson), this monthly gathering is about connection. Whether you’re new to Tucson or have been part of this community for years, this potluck is a chance to feel seen, valued, and truly present.

Imagine a table groaning with home-cooked magic, conversations that meander from the latest neighborhood natter to cherished memories of vintage Tucson, and laughter that feels like a warm embrace.

📅 Come join our circle of friendship on August 30! Bring a dish or just bring yourself. Either way, you’re an irreplaceable part of this community. Click here to find out more and RSVP.
