Fall is shaping up to be a busy season for LGBTQ+ Tucson, with opportunities to be seen, build a business, cheer from the sidelines, move through downtown and support local organizations.

These six events offer a useful starting point for September through November 2026. Because schedules and availability can change, readers should revisit each organizer’s page before leaving home.

LGBTQ+ Visibility and Business Connections Start the Season

On Thursday, Sept. 17, the NOH8 Campaign brings an open photo shoot to the Thornhill Lopez Center on 4th, 526 N. Fourth Ave., from 6 to 8 p.m.

No ticket or reservation is needed. Solo photos cost $40, while couple and group photos cost $25 per person. Participants should arrive camera-ready in a plain white shirt. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

Then, on Friday, Oct. 2, the Gaymber Small Business Summit runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at YWCA of Southern Arizona, 525 N. Bonita Ave. The day includes practical workshops, drop-in expert advising and a marketplace for LGBTQ+ and allied entrepreneurs.

The event page is live, but its registration system was not accepting registrations as of Aug. 18. Interested readers should check back or contact the Tucson LGBT Chamber before making plans.

Queer Sports Take Over Tucson in October

The 2026 ASANA Softball World Series arrives Oct. 19–24, bringing LGBTQ+ athletes and teams to Lincoln Regional Park and Sports Park Tucson.

Pool play begins Wednesday, bracket play continues Thursday and Friday, and championships are planned for Saturday. Many individual times and ticket links remain pending, so the official ASANA schedule should be the final word.

That same Saturday, Oct. 24, the Big Gay 5K begins at 9 a.m. at Armory Park, 222 S. Fifth Ave., with a route through Barrio Viejo. The 5K currently costs $35, with a price increase scheduled after Sept. 15. High Heel Havoc follows at 10:30 a.m. and currently costs $25. Advance registration is available through RunSignup.

Giving and Remembrance Close Tucson’s Fall Calendar

Queer for Good returns Thursday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. at La Rosa, 800 N. Country Club Road. Hosted by the LGBTQ+ Alliance Fund, the free gathering celebrates community impact and Southern Arizona philanthropy. Registration is required, and complimentary valet parking is listed for guests.

From Nov. 1–30, SAAF also lists a Tucson exhibit connected to the National AIDS Memorial Quilt. Its location and visitor details remain to be announced, making this a save-the-date rather than a completed plan.

Whether the fall priority is visibility, entrepreneurship, sports, giving or remembrance, Tucson offers several ways to connect. Readers can choose the events that fit their interests, register where required and recheck the organizer pages as each date approaches.
