Tucson Gallery Welcomes the LGBTQ+ Community — Come Create With Us

Downtown just got a little brighter. The brand-new Tucson Gallery is open for business at 245 E Congress Street, Suite 101. Located mere steps from the streetcar, surrounded by great food, and bursting with local art that celebrates the soul of our LGBTQ+ community. Doors are open Tuesday–Saturday, 10 AM–8 PM, Sunday 10 AM–5 PM (closed Mondays), so you’ve got plenty of time to swing by after work or make it a weekend date.

Spotlight: Discover the Joy of Intuitive Painting with Angela Soliz (Nov 16)

If you’ve ever wanted to paint purely for the joy of it, Angela Soliz is ready to guide you. Join her for Intro to Intuitive Painting with Acrylics at Tucson Gallery on Sunday, November 16 from 2:30 to 4:30 for a colorful, feel-good workshop where creativity flows freely, and perfection takes a back seat.

In this upbeat, hands-on session, Angela walks you step-by-step through the art of color, texture, and self-expression. Whether you’re brand new to painting or rediscovering your artistic spark, you’ll leave feeling grounded, inspired, and proud of what you created. Get ready for an experience of mindful painting that encourages calm, confidence, and joy.

Victor—an accomplished Tucson-born LGBTQ+ artist—guides you step-by-step to create your own desert-inspired canvas. No experience needed; you’ll leave with a piece you’re proud of, plus a post-class wine social (21+) next door to toast your masterpiece. Seats are limited and it’s just $50 for instruction (supplies included or bring your own). Reserve early!
