A cryptic title, I know, but I want to try something a little different 🙂 THEM Youth Ensemble is a newer community group for LGBTQ+ and ally youth from young teenages to performers in their early-to-mid 20’s. Singers of all different levels are welcome and you will even get some training to improve in the craft. If you have interest, why not get your first glimpse as you are invited to RISE with THEM this weekend!
When and Where is RISE with THEM?
RISE! Remembrance, Resilience, and Our Futures Together – is the official title of the wonderful concert taking place Saturday, November 23rd from 7 – 9pm at the Sea of Glass Center for the Arts. If you’ve never been, the Sea of Glass is the perfect venue for this ensemble performance, with soaring ceilings and excellent acoustics.
What can I Expect at RISE with THEM?
RISE is THEM Youth Ensemble’s inaugural performance in Tucson. The production was created in recognition of National Transgender Day of Remembrance/Resilience. To celebrate this transcendent day, the talented performers in RISE will recall music from global social movements. They will also strive to cultivate hope and resilience in the midst of escalating violence against LGBT peoples in the US.
So what are you waiting for? You can purchase your RISE tickets at $10 for general admission. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at bit.ly/ThemRise – And remember, anyone under the age of 24 gets in completely FREE!
