Tucson Pride Parade 2018

Tucson Pride Parade 2018

Throughout the years, I’ve seen the Tucson Pride Parade graduate from being “just another thing to do” to become its own source of pride and diversity for our incredible community.  Beyond the fun floats and extravagant outfits, the Tucson Pride Parade is a perfect showcase for our vibrant and colorful culture.  This year, the planners for Tucson Pride Parade 2018 went back to the roots of the event, creating the most inspiring parade in years!

Tucson Pride Parade 2018: How Do I Get there?

Things are a little different this time around.  As opposed to being a Downtown Tucson parade the night before, complete with its own set of attendant events and after-parties, we will now show our pride in the Tucson sunlight!

You’ll want to start at the Broadway and Country Club intersection at 11 am on Saturday, September 29th, (Pride Day)!  From there, you’ll join hundreds of local Tusconans representing a cross-section of all the active and engaged LGBT businesses, groups, and non-profits that we are lucky enough to have.  The route goes down South and into Reid Park, where the Festival begins at Noon on the dot.

Tucson Pride Parade 2018: Here are the particulars:

  • Registration for Floats: 8:30am
  • Registration for Walkers: 9:30 am

A Perfect Springboard to Tucson Gay Pride 2018!

This event has always served as the launch pad for the entire weekend full of events and fun things to do for our wonderful community.  Thanks to the new route and time, the parade will naturally dove-tail into Tuscon Pride 2018. It will offer event-goers even more to love.  I can’t wait to experience the parade and all the pomp and pageantry that accompanies it!  See you there!

Have a great day!
